Manna Resource Centre was considered for a Green Life Award in recognition of our environmental work Funding has been sourced to improve the energy efficiency of the building and the potential for renewable energy has been considered. However, because of the building's situation the inclusion of renewable energy technologies was very limited. With the help of a grant from the ERDF Objective 2 Energy Efficiency and Clean Technology Grants Scheme a highly efficient condensing gas boiler was installed. This has improved heating standards in the building, making it easier for the whole building to be used and services expanded..
